Associations

An association links a pair of properties in two different parts to make them equal.

Every part has a number of properties. These properties appear in the Properties pane for the part and define the part or indicate how you can use it.

Using association with some part properties can extend the use of the part. These properties might include:

• x coordinate
• y coordinate
• orientation
  ...and so on.

You make an association by:

• Choosing the target part with the Part chooser.
• Choosing the target property with the Property chooser.
