Capacitor

When a capacitor is charged, plus and minus signs are shown on the plates. The number of '+' or '-' signs indicates the amount of charge stored. Each '+' represents 100 µC (100 millionths of a Coulomb) of charge.

A Capacitor is destroyed if it is connected in reverse, but an Electrolytic capacitor is not.
