• Maximum brightness current: 10 mA
• Forward voltage at 10 mA: 2.0 V
• Maximum reverse voltage: 5 V
• Maximum current: 30 mA

Tips for use:

• If driving the LED with an AC signal, you need to add a diode in parallel with the LED, but reversed, to prevent the LED reverse voltage limit from being exceeded.
• You would normally connect a resistor in series with an LED to limit the forward current, where:
  R(ohms) = (Supply voltage - Forward voltage) / 0.01A
