Pop-ups

A part can have one or more pop-ups attached to it. A pop-up can be opened and closed and can contain other parts.

Pop-ups can be used to:

• Hide advanced parts of a model.
• Provide hints and tips.
• Hide away flowchart programs (if flowcharts are available in the software).

Create and open a part's pop-up with the Part menu.

Close a part's pop-up by clicking the 'x' button on the Part toolbar or by using the Part menu.

Tips for use:

• A part's pop-ups are deleted when the part is deleted.
• A pop-up keeps its position relative to its owning part, moving when the part is moved.
• A part's pop-up and its contents are copied when the part is copied.
• Move a pop-up by clicking and dragging on the pop-up title, the pop-up border or the drag area on the Part toolbar.
