Test

Use this part to compare the values of two worked-out expressions. Click on the expressions on either side of the equals sign to edit them.

Key points:

• An expression can be a value, a variable or a full expression including operators and functions. See Variables, values and expressions for more details.
• After adding the Test part from the Parts library, click on the equals sign in the middle of the part to select from a list of possible comparisons.
• You can change the arrangement of the outputs (Y or N) in the Properties pane.
• Remember that you can test words and phrases as well as values. For instance, if x has the value "Hello world!" and y has the value " world!", the following test would give a positive result: x = "Hello" + y ?
