Tray

The Tray part is a container used to hold and organise other parts that are not currently being used in the model. When you add a part to the tray, it appears in a square, reduced in size and represented by its part icon.

Tips for use:

• Add a part to a tray by dragging the part to a square in the tray.
• Remove a part from a tray by dragging on the part's icon.
• Parts inside the tray are not part of the simulation.
• In some versions of the software, the tray is used as a holding area for parts that are automatically added to a space. An example of this is the PCB tray, which is used when creating a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) model.
