Voltmeter

The voltmeter measures the voltage across its terminals. If one terminal is not connected, the meter displays the voltage difference between the connected terminal and the circuit ground. The resistance between the voltmeter terminals is infinite.

The voltmeter reading is displayed to the left of the part (by default). A positive meter reading is shown if the voltage on the terminal marked with a dot is greater than the voltage on the other terminal.

Part parameters:

• Voltmeter range: ± 0.01 V to ±9999 V (default); ± 0.01 µV to ±9999 V (Autorange option on)

Tips for use:

• You are strongly advised to set the Autorange option in the Meters section of the Scene properties (Electronics) to 'On' when using a voltmeter.
